Mission – The Tanghalang Banyuhay Inc. is a community-based performing arts and film company that offers the community a range of quality theatrical and film experiences supporting local arts, community, and education.
History – Tanghalang Banyuhay Inc. was originally conceived and founded in 2003 led by Mr. Roderick O. Alo after winning the “Champion” in Kwentong Kalye – Street-Play Competition dated April 5, 2003 at Bahayang Pag-asa Sports Complex, Maysan Valenzuela City. Sponsored by the office of the Mayor with Youth and Sports Development Office. The group dreamed to have a theatre group that will be known not only in Valenzuela but in the entire country. It holds the strong belief and clear orientation that theatre is the basic foundation of promoting the real image of the society by using performances as a medium to understand and crystallize the deeper meaning of human life and use theater to mobilize Filipino people to rediscover, preserve, promote culture, heritage and tradition.
